1961: Company founded by Master Toolmaker Wilhelm Schäfer

1973: Start of development for vinyl record press molds

1975: Relocation to the newly developed industrial area in Bad Homburg/Ober-Erlenbach

1976: Acquisition of the first NC lathe

1978: Installation of the first dedicated programming station.

1990: Takeover by his son, Harald Schäfer 

1990: Conversion of the company into a GmbH

1995: Implementation of a 3D volume CAD/CAM system.

1999: Acquisition of the first 5-axis machining center.

2004: Acquisition of the first 5-axis machining center.

2005: Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001.

2007: Addition of a mill-turn machine to the machinery park.

2011: 50th anniversary of the company.

2012: Further expansion of the machinery park

2016: Renovation and expansion of office spaces.
